"Behind the Scenes" on Wednesday, July 27, will be the second in a two-part after-hours presentation series this summer at the Fountainhead Antique Auto & Fashion Museum. Shawn Pokrop from the Fashion Archives & Museum of Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania and the Auto Museum's current fashion intern, will give an in-depth and exciting look at the design process for their newest museum exhibit, the entertaining "Movie Fashion: Titanic." When the RMS Titanic set sail in 1912, it was one of the most luxurious ships that the world had ever seen. Something about the ship's decadence and elegance - even in the face of disaster - will forever capture the imagination. Glamourous, refined, and romantic, 1912 was the peak of the Edwardian Era. This presentation will focus on the latest fashions and accessories of the time with opulent examples from the museum's robust fashion collection. The costumes are inspirational and will provide the audience with first-class insight into all aspects of life in that era. The program will take place at the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum at 212 Wedgewood Dr. Tickets are $15 per person. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The 30-45 minute presentation begins at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a no-host bar with beer and wine, and stay after to enjoy the museum until 8 p.m. with museum docents and Shawn.
