Position Overview Interior Gas Utility (IGU) was created in 2012 as a community response to Fairbanks’ dual crisis of high heating costs and poor air quality. Our mission is to bring affordable, clean-burning natural gas to the largest number of residents and businesses in the Fairbanks North Star Borough safely, economically, and as quickly as possible.
