As our Chief Data and Analytics Officer, you will…Serve as a key member of the University of Alaska Foundation’s senior leadership team, shaping how data and analytics drive fundraising success, donor engagement, and institutional impact across the UA system.

In this role, you will lead the UA Foundation’s enterprise data, analytics, and advancement information services functions—ensuring that our data is not only accurate and secure, but also transformed into meaningful insights that inform strategy and decision-making.

You’ll partner closely with UA Foundation and university leadership to build a modern, scalable data environment that supports a comprehensive fundraising program across multiple campuses. This includes advancing data governance, strengthening analytics capabilities, and ensuring that systems and tools are accessible and valuable to both technical and non-technical users.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, computer science, business, or a related field, or commensurate experience
- 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in data, analytics, information systems, or related leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience leading teams or functions in data, analytics, or information services
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing data strategy and analytics frameworks in a complex organization
- Experience working with enterprise data systems and reporting platforms

Position Details:

This position is designated as an officer of the university or senior administrator at the discretion of the president.

This position is ideally based in Anchorage or Fairbanks, Alaska, with responsibility across the University of Alaska system. Remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate, with the expectation of regular travel and engagement across campuses. 

This is a full-time, executive management, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. Salary is commensurate based on education and experience.
