Day to Day
As the Structural EIT, you would be responsible for structural analysis of both individual building components and of complete building systems using a combination of modeling software and manual calculations. You will also support with seismic design and detailing of all construction types, and support with on-site condition assessments and construction observations.
If you are someone eager to get hands-on experience with drafting, 3-D modeling using FEM analysis software and BIM applications, then apply today!
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering course work.
- Eager to pursue your Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alaska.
- Demonstrate a high-level understanding of structural system concepts.
- A passion for community-focused structural design projects throughout Alaska.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excitement for learning new skills and working collaboratively in team settings.
